Aakash available for sale

World cheapest tablet Aakash is available online for sale for Rs 2500. Maker of the world's cheapest tablet Datawind, has put up for sale about 30,000 tablets online. They will deliver the tablet in seven days.
The tablet is available on portal aakashtablet.com. The seven inch tablet is come with Android 2.2.
"We have put up on sale about 30,000 tablets online, which will have a cash on delivery of 7 days. We have achieved pre sales orders of about 4,00,000 tablets from individuals and corporate. But current supplies will only be limited for individual buyers," said by Datawind CEO and founder Suneet Singh Tuli.





Next commercial version of the Aakash called Ubislate 7. It has a faster processor and may be launched end of the January. Aakash have a 366 Mhz processor and Ubislate may be have 700 Mhz processor.
Ubislate 7 will be available at a price of Rs 3000 for sale online.
The main problem of Datawind is the customer service for online retail, even though the sale is only for a limited number of tablets.
The Indian government is also planning to provide a new specification for Aakash. The new version will come with a faster processor and better battery life. The current version of Aakash has a battery life of about 1.5 hours.
