India declare there team for Tri series and T20 in Australia. Sachin, Praveen and Irfan back in team. Yuvraj not recovered and Harbhajan is not consider for selection.
Praveen Kumar who missed Test series because of injury, is fit and back in Team. Yuvraj Singh needs some more time to recover completely.
Sachin Tendulkar played his last ODI on April 2, 2011 which was the World cup final. He is now comeback in ODI. He is not playing too much ODI series since last 2 years.
Zaheer Khan lead the Indian bowling attack. Praveen Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Irfan Pathan and Vinay Kumar will support him. Ishant Sharma is not considered for the shorter version of the game as he is more recognized as a test bowler.
Rahul Sharma and R Ashwin are the two specialist spinners in the team with Ravindra Jadeja supports them as a all-rounder.
The ODI batting line-up looking same with Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and Manoj Tiwary retaining their places.
Varun Aaron and Munaf Patel also not considered because of there injuries.
The Indians are scheduled to play two Twenty-20 matches on February 1 and 2, followed by the tri-series, with Sri Lanka as a third team, from February 5, 2012. The 17 member team is announced by BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale.
