Has to be the best innings of my career: Kohli
"It has to be the best innings of my career. The kind of situation we were in, chasing 320, and also we needed bonus points. So, it was a crunch game; and to play an innings like that at the right time, I felt it was a great innings for me," Virat Kohli said after the match.
"Critics will always be there; the innings was more of proving a point to myself. It was like if you play well, we can take the team to victory. So it really feels nice to play that sort of an innings."
"Before my innings in Perth I was thinking about what was going on in the media, but after that I stopped watching news. I told myself to think positive and that there is no good reason not to score runs. I kept believing and I think that was the key," added by him.
"When you have one game to play, you need to give everything and we were able to do that and we can be satisfied," said by him.
"It is important to win like that after the sort of tour we had so far in Australia. We will take a lot of positives from this match when we will look back; it was like telling each of us that we can take a bit from this win. It shows this team can play like this at any point of time."
"If we reach the final, we will be as expressive as today; we will not be hesitant and we will play like we did today," said by him.

We knew we had the firepower: DHONI
"We knew we had the firepower, but still 320 was more than we could digest. But once we got that start, we knew we could kick on. We will now going shopping for a couple of days and some practice at the same time. Its not in our hands now," said Indian skipper MS Dhoni.
"This was some of the best ODI cricket I have been a part of. When you need 321 off 40, you need a good start. You need the quantity. We wanted to keep them down to 250, maximum 270," he added.
"You can't do much when they bat like that.. Virat played out of his skin on a true pitch. It was the first off day for our bowlers in the tournament, so fair enough. It wasn't just Kohli, it was also the way the others batted around him," said Sri Lankan skipper Jayawardene.
"Our qualification is still in our hands, which is great. Hope we come back from this and win in Melbourne," he added.
