India beat West Indies by 1 wicket
India beat West Indies by 1 wicket in a very close game and lead the ODI series by 1-0. India loss 5 wickets on the score of 59, chasing a small target of 212 runs. After that Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja do a partnership for India. After lossing the wickets at regular intervals, India finally manage to get 213 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 48.5 overs. Rohit Sharma gets the man of the match for his fine innings of 72 runs in 99 balls with 3fours and a six. Before that new Indian captain Virendra Sehwag for this series in the absence of regular captain MS Dhoni, elected to field first. All the Indian bowlers bowl brilliantly and restrict the West Indies on 211 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in there 50 overs. Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron gets 2 wickets each. Ravichandran Ashwin, Vinay Kumar, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja gets 1 wicket each.

India vs West Indies 3rd Test ends in a dramatic manner as draw. The scores levels as India only manage to get 242 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 64 overs. India need two runs on the last ball of the match as they able to take only one run. West Indies don't deserve to lose the match and the luck also favour the West Indies, as they manages to Draw. Ravichandran Ashwin gets the Man of the Match and Man of the Series award for his fantastic performance during the whole series.
Team for Australia Tour: Zaheer and Rohit back
Test squad for next month Australia tour is declared now. Zaheer Khan and Rohit Sharma back in the squad while Harbhajan Singh again ignored. Zaheer is back after recovering from ankle injury and Rohit is called called back in the team. Wriddhiman Saha is selected as a 2nd wicket keeper, ahead of Parthiv Patel in the 17 member squad. Pragyan Ojha and Ravichandran Ashwin are the two spinners in the squad, as they reward for there fine performance against West Indies in the home series. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the captain of the team and Virender Sehwag is the vice captain of the team. Yuvraj Singh is not selected in the team, as he declared himself unfit for the ODI series. Ajinkya Rahane is get the reward of his fine performance in the limited opportunities he got. The team has five pacers, two spinners, two wicket keeper and eight batsmen. The four test match series against Australia will start on Boxing Day (26 December) Test in Melbourne, followed by 3 other matches in Sydney (January 3 - 7), Perth (January 13 - 17), and Adelaide (January 24-28).
