Around 600 officials are facing action in illegal mining in Karnataka. It is a record for the country. All things is set by Karnataka government. In those 600 officers 3 of them are India Administrative Services (IAS) and 4 of them are Indian Forest Services (IFS). Officers are from the various departments like forest, mining, revenue and transport are now in trouble. Lokayukta gave the list of 787 officials, but the official panel decide to take the actions only against 617 officials, said by the sources.
